Andrew Landeryou: no reputation to defend

Here is a little something from the Slanderyou New press clippings archives, patriots. It is funny that we never heard anything more about the matter involved.

Perhaps even someone as deranged and deluded as Andrew Landeryou realised he had no reputation to defend. Or perhaps even Landeryou realised the cross-examination might just be a little awkward for him!

The Age, Saturday 27 August 2005, page 5

ANDREW Landeryou and two other past presidents of the defunct Melbourne University Students Union plan to sue for defamation over an email sent to students this month.

Mr Landeryou, Darren Ray and Benjamin Cass claim $3.6 million from the university, Vice-Chancellor Glyn Davis, the student union and three other officers.

They allege the email that advised of a plebiscite on the proposed structure of a new student union accused the three of corruption.

The three are being sued for at least $3.4 million by the liquidator of the old union, who has alleged that they benefited from dishonest and fraudulent schemes.*

* They did!

PS If Shirley ever realises his dream of elective office he may well front up in public looking like this bloke.

  1. That link is pretty funny but the comparison with Shirley doesn't quite work. The Mayor of Reykjavik is a comedian who dresses as a woman while Shirley who also dresses as a woman is a joke.

  2. I would love to see the fat man sue for libel. It would set a new precedent - negative damages.

  5. Why are nuts like Mark Latham and Steve Price monstering the PM?

Landeryou doesn't like women either. He is a bully too - but a media minnow, whose opinion is disregarded except by fellow nazis.

  7. I've been worried by ABC-TV's Lateline for sometime.

Tonight, they followed up on Landeryou's madcap blog on LNP candidate George Christensen, quoting material he edited 12 years ago in a university student magazine. An ABC reporter even questioned the Mad Monk about the unattributed allegations.

As a wise, patriotic commenter here said on the previous blog, Christensen was editor and not necessarily the enunciator of the things Landeryou has defamed him for.

Does this mean Lateline's careless research staff are snuffling and rooting about on nazi hate site Vexnews looking for 'news'. What idiots! Don't they know Vexnews is run by a non-journo, Labor rich kid, against whom very serious corporate fraud charges have been levelled if not yet properly followed up.

Landeryou is a serial stalker, internet libeller and a dirty tricks afficionado who, among other things, besmirched candidate Les Twentyman OAM, former Victorian of the Year, during the vile Kororoit bye-election in 2008.

Lateline, don't let the cadet reporters do this sort of research. Your program will be ruined if it can be proved you rely on the hate, bile and spite of a man who, everytime he has been in court so far, suffers from total amnesia.

  8. I very much admire Vexnews which Herr Landeryou manages to censor so well, that not a whiff of his sordid criminal past is ever revealed. I daresay that if present in my era, he would have had critics of Vexnews shot. "Let Freedom Ring" is an slogan of great genius. I wish I had thought of that! 'Work makes you free' was the best I could come up with at the time.

  9. Interesting to see in the Australian today how Landeryou's partner in crime Richard Marles is in trouble in his electorate of Corangamite. No wonder the obese criminal has been engaging in such reckless and consistent defamtion of the Liberal candidate Sarah Henderson.

    ReplyDelete
  10. Richard Marles is the MHR for Corio, now a safe Labor electorate. The last Lib to hold it was Hubert Opperman, who resigned in 1967 and the ALP won the seat with candidate Gordon Scholes at the subsequent by-election.

Darren Cheeseman is the ALP MHR for Corangamite, a very marginal electorate the ALP has hardly ever won.

  12. Law abiding people say Landeryou regularly does something similar to this trying to turn stray cats and dogs, livestock, feral animals and even lost children into KFC:

A MAN from Buffalo in the US allegedly marinated his live cat in a mixture of crushed red peppers and chili - but was arrested before he could eat the pet, the Buffalo News reports.

Police rescued the cat after finding it in the Cheektowaga man's car trunk when he was pulled over for allegedly passing a stop sign on Sunday night.

Ferry-Fillmore District officers said they heard the cat crying from inside the trunk and found it in a cage marinating in a mixture of crushed red peppers, chili pepper, salt and oil.

Gary L. Korkuc, 51, told police his black and white cat named Navarro had been "mean" to him and he was planning to make a meal out of the animal because it was ill-tempered.

He was arrested on one count of cruelty to animals and was also charged with passing a stop sign and failure to signal.

Navarro, a four-year-old male, was taken to the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, where he is being put up for adoption.

  14. State government watchdogs like the Ombudsman are complaining that the undemocratic Brumby government is defanging them.

Silencing the Ombudsman is a disgraceful attack on Democracy itself.

Repugnant crim and internet libeller Landeryou has endlessly attacked the Ombudsman on his vile nazi hate blog Vexnews for ages.

  15. Lounge potato and wannabe journo Landeryou has revealed his chief tool of trade - it's not Pitman's shorthand, it's not an RMIT journalism qual - it's GOOGLE!

In a strange attack on aspiring politician Bob Halsall, who is threatening Vexnews with legal action, Landeryou says "A quick Google search reveals the Narre Warren South bloke is running as an independent candidate, insiders say in support of Geoff Ablett – the brother of brilliant footballer Gary Ablett who supplied drugs to a young woman who subsequently died at the Park Hyatt Hotel – who is the Liberal candidate for one of Labor’s seats in the south-east".

What a disgusting, unprovoked defamation of all the Abletts. You are verminous offal, Landy.

Get up off your big fat arse, and go out and interview people. That's what real journos do. Don't just Google them. Googling will often only find looney sites like yours, filled with disinformation, lies and hatred.

You are a very sick, antisocial individual. You do not belong here.

  16. The malfeasance of politicians, corporate cowboys and developers in bringing Australia to its knees with population growth is gobsmacking!

They're the same people who deregulated the financial system and brought us the Global Financial Crash.

They don't live in St Albans. So they wouldn't know what its like to be squeezed.

I bet MP Tony Burke doesn't have to put up with this sort of shit where he lives.

  21. Are these two Shirley and his evil old man Big Bent Bill? Both are known to frequent Lygon Street just like many other of their fellow criminals!!!!

TWO people are dead after a shooting close to Melbourne's popular restaurant precinct of Lygon Street.

Police said one person was in custody following the shooting in Carlton, shortly before 5pm.

Paramedics were called to Lygon Street at 4.45pm and police later confirmed two people were dead.

“Details are very, very sketchy,” a police spokeswoman said.

    No further details were available.

In a separate incident, crime patriarch Macchour Chaouk was shot dead in the backyard of his home in Melbourne's west home at 11am today.

Chaouk was gunned down at his heavily secured Brooklyn home by a gunman who got out of a car in a side street to shoot the 65-year-old in the chest.

  22. De facto Greens party leader Greg Barber, like Russell Gilbert, also defamed by Landeryou on Vexnews, would give the fat crim a terrific biffing if no-one was looking. They are guys who say "Hit me, don't shit me"! Actually, when all the defamed are considered, there are probably hundreds of people who would love to rearrange his horrible features.

But as we here in rural victoria say, you can't make strawberry jam out of sheep shit.

  23. On Vexnews, Landeryou is promising us a 'journalistic' treat on Monday at 9 am:

Vexnews: "BE AFRAID: As the nation enters the final week of the election, Monday Madness returns. A story so troubling, it had to rest for the weekend. A blow so low that it warranted a three-day promo. VEXNEWS is first with the worst but you'll have to wait til Monday 9AM".

Hmnn. I think Landeryou has just discovered that Tony Abbott has a small pecker.

The whole nation, other than the blind, already knew that.

  25. Just hacked his HD. Landeryou is going to publicly apologise to the Ombudsman and Les Twentyman, OAM and former Victorian of the Year.

Here's proof. I found this file 'Memo to myself' attached to his pre-prepared Monday Morning Madness webpage:

    MEMO TO MYSELF:

Pray to the Abraham of the Chosen People to forgive my vile calumnies on the Ombudsman, Twentyman and others, too numerous to mention. Make sure Big Kim will wake me up in plenty of time to upload my much-awaited denoument of myself. I've never been up this early on a Monday morning--ever. Set two additional alarm clocks in case she is pissed too. Lock Ronnie up for the night, so he can't piss on me like he did last night. Ditto Sgt. Uzunov. Didn't believe his story this morning that he was sleepwalking to the bathroom. Make sure that there is enough Madeira so I can toast my first 'Promo' and crawl back into bed feeling suitably numb.

  26. So how come a crook like him is running a 'News' website that regularly defames people, anyway?

Aussies losing sleep due to rising obesity

AUSTRALIANS are losing sleep because of their expanding waistlines.
An analysis of 20 years of records from a NSW sleep clinic has revealed a steady rise in the weight of those patients referred for treatment.
And as patient obesity levels were seen to increase, so did the severity of their breathing-related sleep disorders.
"There is a continuing trend towards increasing body weight ... in people undergoing diagnostic sleep studies,'' writes Dr Jeffery Pretto, and colleagues, in a paper published in the Medical Journal of Australia.
The research concluded the "worsening severity in sleep-disordered breathing is primarily attributable to increasing obesity''.
More than 14,500 patients checked into the adult sleep disorder service operated by John Hunter Hospital, in Newcastle, for a diagnostic sleep assessment from 1987 to 2007.
During that period, the patients' median body weight was seen to increase 11 per cent (from 89kg to 99kg) for men and 16 per cent (from 73kg to 85kg) for women.
The disorders include sleep apnea in which a person's airway collapses causing them to rouse, resulting in disrupted sleep.
The research showed for every unit increase on the body mass index, male patients suffered an extra 5.5 problematic breathing events per hour of sleep while for women they had an additional 2.8 events.
Concerningly, the paper also said while Australia was close to the US in terms of obesity levels, it was well behind on the rate of overweight patients seeking treatment for their sleep problems.
"There will be an ongoing higher demand for sleep laboratory services and treatment provision in Australia over the coming years,'' Dr Pretto said.

  30. I hope Australians will be given a fortnight's holiday to recover from the horrors of the current federal election campaign.

The media have given the glib leaders the softest ride imaginable. The electorate is being forced to choose between a posturing poodle whose serving government worships ludicrous new taxes noone can afford, and remnants of the Howard rabble that brought Australia and Australians to their knees in 2007. The Mad Monk is a stealthy snake who struggles constantly with the truth.

Landeryou too has made a mild contribution of sorts. The mad loon revealed this morning that Julia Gillard was NOT a lesbian during her university days. Thanks for nothing, Landy!

Politicians, amateurish and corny as they are, are a major cause of depression in Australia.

    ReplyDelete
  31. If everyone followed Mark Latham's advice and pushed unfilled voting papers into voting boxes on Saturday, Nobody would be elected.

An empty parliament. No new taxes. No more spin.

    Oh, Happy Day!

  32. Where is the stimulus for older Australians who have now lost most of their Super thanks to the Global Financial Crash and continuing volatility, caused by politicians deregulating the cowboy financial sector with their mad 'reforms'?

Cough up, you buggers, and make good our losses which occurred through no fault of our own.

And stop trying to blame us for the future costs of an aging population. Most of us paid bloated income taxes for 45 years or more.

What did you do with all those billions?

    ReplyDelete
  33. The Mad Monk started to rapidly unravel under the close questioning of Kerry O'Brien on tonight's 7.30 report. Kerry should get a Walkley for being the first journo to ask direct questions. Viewers found that squirming Tony Abbott continues to struggle with the truth.

If the Libs are elected on Saturday we will get another John Howard government minus John Howard. Most of the former Howard government ministers, now fronted by the Mad Monk, are poised to screw Australian battlers and workers all over again.

In the last three years, it was obvious the Libs had learned nothing from their dismissal from government by an angry electorate. Now they are back wanting another go.

  34. Yup - more of Abbott, Hockey, Robb, Bishop, Abetz, Andrews, Ruddock, Dutton, Hunt, Truss, Pyne, Brandis and all the other silvertails born to lead.

Shit! I thought we had got rid of that nazi rabble in 2007!

With brass necks and absolute gall, these dills dare to offer themselves for re-election as a 'grown up government'.

    We are their kindergarten.

Armchair journo and 'Googler' Landeryou has libelled her unmercifully recently. Andrew doesn't only libel people in his blogs, he uses fake comments to compound his defamations.
